Profile Summary

Before joining Felicity Bryan as an agent in 2016, I worked for five years at Conville & Walsh Literary Agency as a Junior Agent. At Felicity Bryan I am actively building a list of non-fiction and fiction clients, with a focus on debut authors. I love non-fiction by authors who are passionate -- perhaps even bordering on obsessive -- about a topic, and I have a particular interest in books about science, nature, history, travel, sport, health, women, art and music. On the fiction side, I represent literary and book-club titles. It's difficult to define what I am looking for in a novel besides fantastic writing, but I always seem to be drawn to unique and diverse voices, atmospheric settings, coming-of-age stories and books that capture the zeitgeist. I also host a monthly books radio show and podcast called Literary Friction.

An outline of 3-4 pages, on A4 paper, double-spaced, setting out clearly why the book is important and original, what research or experience you are basing it on, how it compares to any other books on the subject, and what you would cover in it.
