Frances ArnoldRochelle Stevens and Co
Frances Arnold primarily represents writers for film, theatre, television and radio. She has previously beenbuilding a small list of new novelists including Jemma Field, Jan Needle and Russell Gascoigne (Children's novel 'Rebels'). However, the agency currently states that they are no longer accepting fiction or non-fiction prose submissions, and as such, we would advise Agent Hunter subscribers who are primarily novelists to also research the profiles of some of the specialist literary agents on this site.
Frances has a background in Textile Design and used to run the Theatre Bar at Winchester's Theatre Royal. Prior to becoming an agent, she worked at the innovative King's Head Theatre in Islington. She began her publishing career as Rochelle Steven's assistant in the early 1990s and went on to become a fully-fledged agent with her own client list. Her list includes writer and director Neil Biswas ('Skins', 'In a Land of Plenty'), writer Paul Campbell ('Doctors', 'EastEnders') and director Paul Cotter ('Shameless', 'Waterloo Road', 'Hollyoaks').
Beyond the agency website, there is relatively little information about Frances Arnold online. She does not seem to use social media or give interviews. However, if any subscribers are able to provide more information about Frances or her client list we would be happy to update our information.
Check the Rochelle Stevens & Co website for the most up-to-date information on what kinds of submissions the agency is accepting.
