Other advice and background:
I am actively seeking debut fiction, in particular reading group/accessible literary and crime, and like to see manuscripts with a good hook, plenty of plot and standout female characters. I have broad tastes and a partly non-British background, so as well as great writing and a professional approach, I am also looking for voices that reflect diversity of experience and background. I take very careful notice of the cover email so it's really important to me that this is concise, well crafted and tailored to me.
