Probably because i spend all working day with fiction, I read non-fiction to relax, and I'm a big fan of the New Yorker and National Geographic. I also like Photography and enjoy snapping friends and family with my DLSR and posting bookish pics on Instagram at @the_literary_agent

More info on this agency:
Julie Fergusson obtained degrees in maths then creative writing from Edinburgh University, before working for several years as both publisher and a freelance editor. She is looking for novels that are intelligent and thought-provoking, both commercial and literary, particularly women's, reading group and dystopia fiction; as well as psychological thrillers and YA fantasy. She loves a detailed and fast-paced plot, centered around interesting and well-developed characters. Think "Luckiest Girl Alive", "Elizabeth is missing", "We Are All Completely Beside Ourselves", "The Power" by Naomi Alderman, and anything by Lousie O'Neil or Margaret Atwood. Allan Guthrie has worked in the book trade since 1996 and has been a literary agent since 2005. He is also an award-winning novelist, freelancing editor, and former publishers. His main area of interest is crime fiction. Kevin Pocklington joined JBA as an agent in 2011, where he developed the main non-fiction list from scratch. At The North, he is looking for a wider range of non-fiction submissions and would like to develop a fiction list with new authors, including accessible literary, YA and crime titles. Stan (Mark Stanton) worked at Canongate Books for more than six years before becoming an agent in 2003. He represents writers for an array of genres including literary and book club fiction, crime and thrillers and non-fiction - particularly in the areas of biography, sport, and popular culture; though he's very keen to see anything in the fields of popular science and politics. Award-winning novels include "Salmon Fishing in the Yemon" and "The Universe Versus Alex Woods". While "In a Cottage In a Wood" by Cass Green is his more recent Sunday Times bestseller (October 2017). He has one children's writer, the Waterstones Prize winner David Solomons ("My Brother is a Superhero"). In 2011. he was short-listed for Literary Agent of the Year. He didn't win.
