Profile Summary

This agent mainly represents writers and directors for film, theatre, television and radio.  Although the agency do represent some fiction, non-fiction and children's books, it is not their specialism and we would advise aspiring novelists to visit the profiles of other agents on this site.  However, we believe Rochelle Stevens would be a good agent to contact if you are an established novelist who is looking for dramatic representation.

Rochelle started her eponymous company in 1984.  She has a background in theatre and television and began her career as an assistant at the National Theatre in the 1970s.  She went on to run Judy Daish Associates in New York, followed by a spell as a Story Editor at Euston Films and Thames Television.  In the 1980s, prior to establishing her own agency, Rochelle handled Curtis Brown’s list of dramatists.

Rochelle is a well established agent with a strong list.  Her current clients write across mediums and genres, and have scripted some of the most popular dramas and soaps on television and radio (New Tricks, EastEnders, Holby City, The Bill, Doctors, Poirot, Cutting Edge – to name but a few).  She currently represents performer and writer Myra Seeyal (Goodness Gracious Me, Bhaji on the Beach, Bombay Dreams.) and the dramatic rights for best-selling novelist Deborah Moggach (See Saw, Close Relations, Stolen).
