New Literary Agents

This page collects together a short sample of UK literary agents who have been an agent for up to five years. In many cases, that does not mean the agents are without experience. Very commonly, agents enter the industry having earned their stripes as commissioning editors at major publishing houses - that means, they are industry veterans, but still keen to build their client lists and make new deals.

We've put a brief sample of such agents in the list below - but do note that these names represent just  tiny sample of our overall database. You will get the most from Agent Hunter if you create and refine your own searches.

The Agent Hunter database and how to use it

There are plenty of agents who have only recently entered the industry and you won't want to approach them all. The best way to develop and refine your shortlist of likely targets is to go straight to our main search page and use the search tools on the left to make your selection.

You can select by genre (eg: "Crime & Thrillers") but you can also select by the agent's level of experience, appetite for new clients and very much more. Our database is completely comprehensive and it's really, really easy to create the searches you want.
